Womad World of Music, Arts & Dance Festival

We were invited to run workshops and to create a large processional dragonfly at Womad Festival in the medieval city of Cáceres in Extremadura, Spain in May 2018. We worked with 200 local children on the theme of insects, making, butterflies, dragonflies, bees and ladybirds out of willow and tissue paper for the festival’s procession through the streets of the city ending in the spectacular Plaza Mayor.
